I recently stayed at Chill Inn in Koh Samui for a week-long vacation and had a fantastic time. The beach is just a few meters away, making it incredibly convenient for beach lovers like myself. The atmosphere at the hostel was extremely chill and laid-back, perfect for relaxation. I must mention Jim, the host, who was the friendliest and most accommodating person I encountered. The staff and owner, Mike, were also super friendly and made sure everyone had a great stay. The view from the dorm room was breathtaking, a wonderful way to start the day. The hostel even offers bike rentals, which was a convenient way to explore the area.
Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

The room I stayed in had a lovely terrace where I could relax and enjoy the views. The bed linen and towels provided in every room were clean and comfortable. I loved the private entrance of my dormitory room, it gave me a sense of privacy. The sea view from my dormitory room was breathtaking, I couldn't help but stare at it.
Personally, I didn't enjoy one feature of the room which was the lack of a TV.

Located on the coast, with good food and a beach bar. Outdoor seating, paddle boards, and friendly staff create a social atmosphere. Rooms are cold with great air conditioning, and the dorms have en suite bathrooms.

Spent Christmas here and it was just okay. the location was nice, right by the beach, but everything else was meh. Food was overpriced, and the cafe area was crowded. the rooms were decent but nothing special. the only advantage was the friendly staff who were somewhat helpful. But overall, I wouldn't stay here again.
Overpriced food, crowded cafe area, average rooms, and only somewhat helpful staff. Not worth it.

I had an amazing stay at this hostel. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, even with our changing arrival time. the room was spacious and the beds were comfortable, not cramped together like in some hostels. the on-site cafe served delicious breakfasts, and the atmosphere in the evening was lovely. the hostel is located right on the coast, offering breathtaking views from the dorm rooms. the beachfront access was a major plus, and I had a blast using the paddle boards and kayaks that were provided for free. Special thanks to Rob, the manager, who was always ready to help with anything we needed. Cons: Nothing to be said. 😊.

Certain units at the hostel have a terrace, which is amazing for enjoying the tropical vibes and chilling with friends. I loved sipping my morning coffee out there, taking in the beautiful surroundings.
Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the sea view in the dormitory room. It felt a bit overwhelming for me, but hey, I know some people love that kind of thing.

I got great value for my money at this hostel - the room was spacious and comfortable, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The location was perfect, with stunning views of the sea right from my bed.
Breakfast items could be improved by opening the cafe earlier in the morning, as there weren't any other options nearby.
